This is a faculty-run moot. The department, not the society, will pick the entrants.
Deadline is 07/10/22 at midnight.
Dear all,
Bar & Chambers will once again be working with the LSE Law Department this year to select a team that will represent LSE in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Jessup is one of the largest mooting competitions globally, and extremely prestigious, with participants from 700 law schools in 100 countries and jurisdictions. The Competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice, the judicial organ of the United Nations. One team is allowed to participate from every eligible school. Teams prepare oral and written pleadings, appearing before panels of top academics and judges. The best team from each region will be invited to take part in the International Round, competing with schools from all over the world.
Applicants should bear in mind that this is an advanced moot so we will only be accepting applications from experienced mooters (LLB and LLM). The Department will review the initial submissions, shortlisting candidates who may be asked to present draft written and oral arguments. If you are interested in taking part in the competition, please fill out the form below. Thank you for your time and best of luck to all!
Best wishes,
Fee Robinson
